CJ Lines was born and raised in Birmingham, England but relocated to London in the early 2000s. Throughout the decade, he wrote music and film reviews for many UK-based publications.
His first novel, Filth Kiss, was published in 2007 to international acclaim, followed by a collection of his short stories, Cold Mirrors, in 2011.
His publication credits also include a number of stories in several publications, such as the award-winning Duplicity in Guy N. Smith’s Graveyard Rendezvous magazine. More recently, his story Emmeline appeared in Darkscribe’s Unspeakable Horror From The Shadows of the Closet which won the Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in an Anthology 2008 and was reprinted by Book of the Month Club in exclusive hardcover.
He currently lives in rural Hertfordshire where he is working on a new novel.
